Since I blogged Part I and II of this long-broken up post I have visited a couple of news and other blogs that have covered the story. What I found was that commenters on the the US sites were quick to say horrible and awful things about this couple and their decisions and also […]

A gentleman named John left a comment on the post I wrote, Pregnant Father about the terminology and differences between Sexual Identity and Gender Identity. In his comment he asked a question and for some help understanding these concepts.
Hi, I’m trying to understand all the terminology here. To be honest, I’m preparing for […]

LeLo sent me a link to an interesting article in The Advocate yesterday.

Not only was I horrified to hear the news clip with the hateful words that you spoke about me and my family–my children heard […]
Students from a Sherwood, Oregon Middle School performed an amazing and authentic performance about bullying in school. The overall theme: we all must stand together against discrimination. Administrators in this school banned the play as it was written citing that the theme was “too mature.” I took my wife and my daughter […]
The students at Sherwood Middle School voted to not change their controversial script and instead decided that they would move their performance to a “friendlier” venue.
The performance of “Higher Ground” will take place this Sunday at 2:00 at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts. Donations will be accepted at the door to defray […]
Leap Day, also known as Bissextile Day is observed every four years. Or more accurately in any year that is divisible by 4 except for century years that are not divisible by 400. What a complicated world that we live in.
I’m just happy that the Bissextile’s get some recognition every once in a […]
